A HOLISTIC PHILOSOPHY
OF HEALTHY LIVING
Eat Well
When it comes to real, lasting health, every bite matters.
Believe in whole foods, in eating plants 95% of the time, in choosing organic, sustainably grown, small-batch foods that not only nourish our bodies but also support our local communities.
When on occasion, you decide to eat meat, fish, or an animal product, always ask yourself the fundamental question: was it raised or caught with love & care?
For meat, I suggest to opt for pasture-raised and ethically reared animals; for fish, know its source—steer clear of fish and prawn farms that rely on antibiotics and disrupt local ecosystems.
It’s our duty to choose foods that are humane and kind to our planet. It’s our duty to honour the principle of treating all living beings as we want to be treated…
Exercise Your Body
The Transformative Power of Daily Movement
While nourishing your body with fresh, living foods is essential, movement is equally vital. I advocate for some form of exercise daily, at minimum a daily walk of at least 40 minutes—a gentle, yet transformative practice that boosts circulation, reduces stress, and strengthens your heart and muscles. Unlike extreme workouts that strain the body, a brisk walk reconnects you with nature and mirrors the simple, healthy habits of our ancestors.
It’s not just exercise; it’s a daily celebration of life.
Juicing
The Art and Science of Slow Mastication Juicing
Juicing, especially when done slowly, is a powerful way to deliver a concentrated burst of nutrients.
I know it sounds a bit unconventional, but slow mastication juicing extracts vitamins in quantities that sometimes surpass what we could ever eat in one sitting. For best results, choose a juicer that minimizes heat and oxidation (look for models with no metal parts and a low speed—ideally no more than 50 rpm).
Remember to keep your juice fresh in the fridge for no more than 72 hours, and check your blood vitamin levels regularly to ensure you’re on track.
