Authentic Foods

Celebrating Exceptional Food & It’s Makers!

I am not walking on water or revealing the holy grail here…

It’s no secret that good food is healthier for you, but hell, it even tastes better. At the end of the day, it’s all about respect of your food & yourself. You know the mantra, you are what you eat - and all that jazz! First of all, I truly believe in quality over quantity, and sorry to say, but your diet has a huge affect on your health and the longevity of your life. It’s a choice every single day. I believe there would be infinitely less maladies if people took the time to buy fresh instead of mass produced, and if people were more careful and made it their mandate to know where and how their food was treated prior to landing in their basket. So let’s taste good food, travel & discover provenances. Let’s meet the small batch producers, and showcase chefs, artisans and farmers who are passionate and dedicate their life to the terroir. You know this is going to get super interesting!

Happy Goats, Finger Licking Cheese

If you ever want a good old French goats cheese in this part of the world head to Blue Ledge Farm, Vermont. Passion lives here. Their whole way of life is based on respect for the land and the animals. They’re living their dream of raising healthy, happy animals and making pretty great cheese! The goats here spend spring, summer and fall browsing in the 150 acre woods, return to the barn for milking at 4pm and then lounge around in a grass pasture all evening, probably glass of wine in hand! Call me crazy, but after this visit you’ll likely want to shape shift as a goat!
